These quick production tips will definitely save you time in the studio and improve your workflow.

Add a filter to your delay to help the effect feel more in the background....

Delays are a great way to create movement & fill up space in the background.

Previously we talked about adding automation to your delay so it only triggers on the words that you would like to echo to avoid muddiness.

Another great way to avoid muddiness when it comes to delays is to filter out the highs & lows. Most delays have this option built right in them, but if your delay doesn't just simply add a filter after your delay.

Removing those low frequencies will avoid rumble & low-end clashes & removing some of the high-end frequencies will help tame harshness.
