I am grateful to be featured on the #1 gospel album in the country, James Fortune - Dear Future Me which features sounds from SoundOracle.net on the song Dear Mirror produced by The Cocaptains. The song starts off with a loop from “The Oracle Vault Pt. 1” and also uses addition Sound Oracle drums.

James Fortune is a multiple GRAMMY® nominated and stellar gospel music recording artist, songwriter, and producer. He is also a radio personality on 1190 AM WLIB. James Fortune locks in at #1 at Billboard's Gospel Albums chart this week according to Nielsen Music.

The 17-track track is Fortune's third No. 1 on Top Gospel Albums which follows Live Through It in 2014 and Identity in 2012. The album' is preceded by the singles "I Forgive Me" and the title track "Dear Future Me." James Fortune & FIYA's new album also features the standout songs "Expectation", "More Like You" and "Free Indeed." As well as featured appearances from several leading Gospel artists.

Fortune, a native of Richmond, Texas, was raised in the church where his dad was a pastor. A graduate of Kempner High School in Sugar Land, Texas and then Cal State Northridge, who consequently became the choir director at Dimension Church in Houston. As we all know Fortune's strength is he knows how to put gospel and praise songs over to a young 21st century audience. His secret is that he incorporates hip-hop arrangements with urban beats into his recordings. As much or more a preacher, choir leader, master of ceremonies, and a worship service manager, he is indeed a world class Gospel Artist that speaks for many generations.
