Cool Tech For Under $100
What's up guys?
Quite a few people have been asking me about my Cool Tech for Under $100 list I did on the Unquantized Podcast so I've decided to share five of my favorite tech gems with you here. These things have improved my studio life tremendously and I hope they can help you too.
Another level of power
Let's get straight to the point. This thing is a beast! This powered hub has 13 USB 3.0 data transfer ports and one quick charging port ideal for charging phones, tablets etc. I use it to power my Ableton Push 2, Maschine Studio, MPC, hard drives, etc all at the same time. I've owned plenty of USB hubs in my day and this one is by far my favorite.
Silence of the Mice...
No more annoying clicks! This wireless mouse has 100% silent buttons. I never realized how distracting the clicking of a mouse was until I experienced life without it. I will never go back to a standard mouse again.
My Mic Sound Nice!
This microphone has been a staple in my studio for a long time now. If you're looking to capture great sound on a strict budget, this is definitely the way to go. I've used i for everything from voiceover to sound design.
Music In The Air
The size of this keyboard makes it ideal for your mobile set up. But after getting a chance to use this in the studio recently, the thing that impressed me most was how fast and latency free the response was over Bluetooth. Plus let's face it, one less cord and one more "freed" up USB port is always cool!
Korg microKEY Air-25 Bluetooth and USB Midi Controller
Speak It Into Existence
As many of you know, I'm really into artificial intelligence. I use this voice assistant for a ton of things like controlling home appliances, ordering an Uber, generating ideas, controlling music, and so much more. This has made my life in and outside of the studio 1000 times more efficient.
Echo Dot (2nd Generation) - Black
I hope these things can add value to your life and help you become a better producer.
