How Producers Can Set Up An LLC!

Believe it or not setting up your LLC is not too difficult! It is usually less than $100 to do.

These are the steps it takes to set up your LLC:

Select your state. For most new owners, it’s best to set up your LLC with the state you live in.
Choose a name for your business. You will have to include “LLC” at the end when registering the name. It also helps to do an online search to make sure no one else in your state has registered that name.
Choose a registered agent. A registered agent is a person or business that sends and receives legal papers on your behalf.
File formation documents. To officially create an LLC, you will need to file your formation document with the state. The most common name for this document is the “Articles of Organization.”
Get an EIN. You will need an EIN if you want to hire employees or open business bank accounts. It is free through irs.gov
