Tutorial | How To Beef Up Your Kick Drum Using A Signal Generator

In this video we will show you how to make your kicks sound a lot deeper and heavier by using a signal generator. This technique is great for producers of hip-hop and trap music. Using signal generators on kicks has been an industry staple for decades and is a precursor to the 808 kick drum we love today!

Even though this tutorial is done in Pro Tools, you can use these plugins and techniques in any DAW (Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, etc). Follow along as professional engineer Eric Michael gives you a step-by-step tutorial on how to beef up your kick drum using a signal generator.
